Krakow holds treasures that travellers cross Europe to see. This day brings together the city's most celebrated masterpieces, adds a view of Kraków from above and ends with an evening of Chopin's music. Guests can take the full programme or choose only the elements that interest them most. We arrange the rest: tickets, a licensed guide and transport.

The programme

• Collegium Maius – the Gothic courtyard of the Jagiellonian University, where Copernicus studied. Guests see the Jagiellonian Globe, one of the first to show America, and the courtyard clock playing Gaudeamus igitur.
• St Mary's Basilica – the ceremonial opening of Veit Stoss's altarpiece, the greatest work of Gothic sculpture in Europe, beneath a star-studded vaulted ceiling.
• Lunch by the Main Market Square
• Czartoryski Museum – an encounter with Leonardo da Vinci's Lady with an Ermine in Poland's oldest museum.
• Coffee in the Old Town – Kraków has a great many charming cafés, from Art Nouveau interiors to quiet courtyard hideaways, so every guest will find their own.
• Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology – Japanese woodblock prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige from the collection of Feliks "Manggha" Jasieński, in a building by Arata Isozaki whose wave-like roof echoes the Vistula and faces Wawel Castle.
• Balloon flight over the Vistula – just steps from Manggha, a tethered balloon rises about 150 metres above the river, revealing Wawel, the Old Town and Kazimierz in the late-afternoon light.
• Evening Chopin recital – an intimate concert with a glass of wine.
• Dinner at Bottiglieria 1881 (optional) – Kraków's only Michelin-starred restaurant.
